If you are social media enthusiast like me, then you are bound to have come across this phrase.
And if an outfit could exemplify this quote, it would be the one Anahita & I are wearing here.
Both the dresses send out such happy vibes. Easy to wear & so pleasant to the eye.
I gave my own twist to the wrap dress & teamed it with a pair of distressed jeans.
I have stated in my blog intro, that motherhood gave new wings to my creativity.
Had you met me 3 years ago, I would be wearing the regular black/nude/ grey shoes.
Now, you will find me strutting with my baby girl in shiny purple shoes!
So what exactly are good vibes?
The positive energy you want to attract from the universe.
The urge to keep negativity at bay. To surround yourself with love & light.
Earlier I wouldn’t bother much. But now I do.
I guess it’s the mother’s instinct or commonly known as the maternal instinct.
What exactly is a maternal instinct?
Not to discount the father’s instinct here.
The most beautiful one being the protective blanket they form around the little ones.
The solid security that they provide. Specially a girl child’s father.
The warm bear hugs that are just reserved for daughters.
The 10293747 cuddles & kisses Anahita gets from Shravan. It’s heartwarming to see.
Over the last two years, I have dwelled on this subject a lot & tried to make my instincts strong.
Just so that I can keep the toxic energy at bay.
How can one do that?
Why does one need to do that?
Although an eternal optimist, the time has come to be a little more aware of the people around you.
More importantly to teach your kids the power of intuition.
The recent happenings in schools have left a deep impact on me.
I have vowed to teach Anahita about safe touch & unsafe touch.
In whatever way I can. And in whatever little way she can comprehend.
Will be sharing some practical steps in my next blog.
Till then I hope that everyone sees the light in others.
Everybody emanates positive & good vibes.
