Living in Bangalore, one has been spoilt with favorable weather. Evenings being so pleasant, that we tend to wear light jackets or cardigans whilst in the open.
Cuppycake loves to play outdoors every evening and comes back home:
Any young mother can tell you the importance of naps n meal times in a toddler’s life!
Since we Bangaloreans also have access to the 300 acres of lush greenery, right in the centre of the city, it was a no-brainer where we wanted to do our little picnic – Cubbon Park!
Jeans & a comfy shirt are my go to outfits while running behind Anahita.
I wore a pair of embroidered jeans which I picked up from a local boutique in Europe, last year but only fit into now!
Along with a blue button down shirt from Zara with my trusty grey sneakers, again from Zara. For me the key to fashion is to be able to reinvent.
Embroidered jeans have turned out to be quite a versatile piece in my wardrobe. I can team them up with a white lace top n some bright heels for a lunch with my girlfriends. Or, with a red bardot top and nude heels for a date night with the husband!
Anahita wears these really cute jeans with small little patches from Mango kids. A full sleeved cotton top from Zara Kids and her silver Clarks walking shoes.
She is always dressed like a tomboy on weekdays in her tights & full sleeved t shirts and is quite the girley girl on the weekends!
The walk also turned out to be a little bit of a learning experience for cuppycake.
There are these thoughtful people who feed the pigeons every morning & evening in Cubbon Park. One of the gentlemen explained to Anahita that she needs to step back after giving the seeds to the pigeons & watch them “eat”. They need to finish their “dinner” & only then she can chase them so as to see them fly!
Its amazing how the kind stranger could teach a lesson in patience to my little daughter & how she also made an attempt to follow it.
To more such sweet & memorable escapades in the park!
